Orchestra of the Music Makers, July 11 2025
On 11 July 2025, the Orchestra of the Music Makers (OMM), joined by the Voices of Singapore Ladies Choir and conductor Tito Muñoz, presented an exhilarating evening of orchestral performance at the Esplanade Concert Hall. The evening featured Holst’s The Planets and Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring — two monumental works that challenged and showcased the full breadth of the orchestra’s artistry. Karim Family Foundation served as Presenting Sponsor, establishing our commitment to supporting the local art scene and empowering music makers. To preserve classical music traditions for future generations.
NBA RSI
During the June school holidays, the NBA Rising Stars Invitational brought together boys’ and girls’ teams from 11 countries to compete in Singapore from 25 to 29 June. As the Official Community Partner, Karim Family Foundation supported a Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA clinic, as well as a Her Time To Play clinic and leadership panel.
During these sessions, elite NBA and WNBA players shared invaluable insights and expertise with budding athletes, offering a glimpse into the realities of pursuing professional sport as a career. They also encouraged young participants to stay resilient and driven — not just in sport, but in whatever path they choose to pursue in life.

KFF Singapore Badminton Open 2025
The home of Singapore Badminton is now KFF Badminton Arena! During a press conference on July 2, 2024, the Singapore Badminton Association announced that the iconic venue will reopen on August 9, 2024.
We are proud to play a part in the redevelopment of the historically significant location, which had been, and will now continue to be a place for both professional shuttlers as well as avid recreational badminton players to train in and hang out.
With a pledge of $3.15 million towards this ambitious project, we hope that the sport of badminton is elevated in Singapore as well as internationally.

The world’s top badminton players gathered in Singapore once again for the KFF Singapore Badminton Open 2024, held from May 28 to June 2, as part of the BWF World Tour Super 750 series.
Badminton fans were captivated by the exciting competition as the players battled for the prestigious title.

Singapore Symphony Orchestra
On May 11, 2024, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra hosted its 45th-anniversary Joie de Vivre Symphony Ball, where guests enjoyed French-inspired dining, an auction, and outstanding performances by emerging local talents.
The SSO’s mission of enriching the local arts scene and developing young musicians continues to play a key role in shaping Singapore’s cultural identity.

SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run 2023
The Karim Family Foundation is proud to have joined the ranks of other notable local institutions in participating in the SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run 2023 as a Flag-off Sponsor. The event was a corporate initiative that brought together the financial sector and SGX-listed companies to uplift underprivileged communities, including children, families, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
This initiative successfully raised $2.5 million for five beneficiaries, including AWWA Ltd., Autism Association (Singapore), Fei Yue, HCSA Community Services, and Shared Services for Charities Ltd.

This title sponsorship represents the start of the Karim Family Foundation’s commitment towards nurturing and supporting aspiring athletes in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. Working closely together with the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA), we seek to empower our players to achieve their aspirations on the international stage and inspire future generations to pursue the same levels of success as their illustrious predecessors.
The Karim Family Foundation has since renewed their commitment to the Singapore Badminton Open 2024 as Title Sponsor for a second year. Karim Family Foundation Scholarship with SMU
Established in 2022, the Karim Family Foundation Scholarship at the Singapore Management University (SMU) provides essential support for undergraduates from Indonesia or of Indonesian ethnicity to study full-time at SMU. The Foundation’s contribution of S$2,000,000 is the single largest alumni gift in the history of the university.
The bond-free scholarship aims to alleviate financial constraints for bright students to achieve academic excellence, regardless of individual challenges. Through this initiative, we hope to nurture communities by empowering scholars to pursue their aspirations and contribute positively to society.
